Features
1. (SC-15582) HR Interface (SOAP) - Add Support For Optional Manning Office
The HR Interface (SOAP) has been updated to include Manning Office support in the "Add or Update Crew Member" endpoint, allowing clients to include Manning Office information when creating or updating crew member records.
- Manning Office variable now available as an optional field in the SOAP endpoint
- The system converts the string to lowercase and removes spaces for validation
- If the Manning Office is not found in SeaCare, an error message is displayed: "Manning Office not found. Please ensure this is a registered Manning Office."
- The field corresponds to the Manning Office field under Patient Demographics > Employee Information tab
2. (SC-15527) FEEDBACK - Patient Chart / Request to Restrict Editing/Deletion of Notes Created by Other Users
Enhanced medical documentation compliance by implementing user-specific editing restrictions for notes and addendums in the Patient Chart.
- Users can now only edit or delete notes and addendums they originally authored
- Edit and delete actions are disabled when users attempt to modify content created by other users
- This change addresses medical documentation standards and compliance requirements
Bug fixes
| Number | Description |
|---|---|
| 1201797 | Fixed an issue where the Inventory Import template downloaded as an empty file, causing import attempts to fail with a "no data to process" error. The template now downloads correctly, allowing successful inventory imports. |
| 1116633 | Updated the Guest Statement form, resolving missing auto-populate information and form layout issues. |
| 1119942 | Fixed an issue where users were unable to share custom reports from the report edit window. Users can now successfully share reports with other users and view the list of users who have access to shared reports. |
| 1115246 | Fixed an issue in the Injury Wizard where required fields were not visually highlighted when left incomplete, allowing users to submit incomplete Injury/Illness reports. With this update, the system now highlights missing required fields in red, displays an error message, and prevents submission until all required information is provided, ensuring accurate event creation and data integrity for all clients. |
| 1115399 | Resolved an issue in the Admin module where the User Report did not accurately display all group memberships for users. Previously, only one group was shown as "Yes" even if the user belonged to multiple groups. With this fix, the User Report now correctly lists all groups a user is a member of, supporting proper validation and audit processes. |
| 1111006 | Fixed an issue to ensure that wasted product fields in the Operations module's Reporting feature now display correctly in custom reports, with each wasted entry shown in its own row and column rather than being grouped together, improving data clarity and usability for all clients. |
| 1111073 | Fixed an issue where scheduled reports failed to generate and notifications were not sent when sharing with "ALL" users. Scheduled reports now generate and send notifications correctly when shared with all users. Additionally, improved the sharing modal with clearer explanatory text and updated button labels to help users understand notification delivery and report visibility for different sharing options. |
| 1104086 | Resolved an issue where merging patient records caused problems for users with Crew Portal access who were also shared through the Provider Portal. After merging, affected users were unable to submit documents via the Crew Portal, and documents submitted through the Provider Portal did not appear in the PEME Module. The fix ensures that, following a patient merge, both Crew Portal and Provider Portal remain properly synced with the patient chart, allowing document submissions to work as expected. |
| 1094376 | Fixed an issue in the Scheduler where editing an appointment from a patient chart would incorrectly reassign the appointment to the currently selected patient, instead of retaining the original patient linked to the appointment. Now, when editing an existing appointment, the appointment remains associated with the original patient as expected. Affected module: Scheduler (Patient Chart > Quick Entry > Schedule Appointment). |
| 1093024 | Fixed an issue where the "Download Report" link in SeaCare Notifications did not work. Now, clicking the link will correctly open the login page, allowing users to authenticate and download custom reports as expected. |
| 1087977 | Fixed an issue where the referral letter did not show the correct specialty and the "Share with Provider" modal was not displaying as expected. Now, the correct specialty is shown for each referral, and the sharing modal consistently appears with the appropriate options for Lab Results, Vitals, Referral Letter, and Cases & Encounters. The generic sharing view is also standardized when no case is open. |
| 1091652 | Fixed an issue in the Onboard > Admin > Integration tab where the Connectivity Status for Fidelio TCP was not updating correctly. The system now properly considers the configured port during connectivity checks, ensuring the status accurately reflects when integrations (voyage, manifest, and POS) are online and functioning as expected. |
| 1073849 | Resolved an issue where duplicate medication lot numbers could be entered during the dispensing process, potentially compromising inventory accuracy and medication safety protocols. The system now enforces validation by highlighting duplicate lot entries in red with informational tooltips, and prevents users from saving or proceeding until all duplicate entries are corrected. This enhancement ensures data integrity across all medication dispensing workflows regardless of the Medication Additional Validation configuration setting. |
| 1074217 | Fixed an issue where date of birth fields with invalid years (e.g., dates far in the past) would cause the DOB to auto-adjust continuously, making it impossible for users to manually edit or correct the date. The date picker now functions properly regardless of the year selected, ensuring users can edit dates as needed. |
