This article shows you where you can enable corrective action field functionality for a new Type.

1. Creating a Corrective Action field

To create a Corrective Action field:

1. Go to Types, Fields & Workflows.
2. Select Fields.
3. Click Field.
4. Enter Corrective Action as the Name.
5. Set Applicable Class to Events.
6. Choose the Applicable Type(s).
7. Set Component to Corrective Action.
8. Select Corrective Action/Default as the Subtab.

2. Enabling a Corrective Action field

Once created, the field must be enabled separately in the Corrective Actions Wizard.

To enable the field:

1. Go to Types, Fields & Workflows.
2. Select Workflows.
3. Click Validations.
4. Click Add Rule.
5. Choose Validators.
6. Search for the field created in the previous section.
7. Toggle it to Enabled.
8. Click Save.
9. Click Publish.
