1. Features
SeaCare Operations
General
For clients that are using the Crew Health App, when upgrading the Operations environment to a new version of SeaCare, the system will now also upgrade SeaCare Crew Health as well.
Admin Module | Vessels
In the Vessels section, the version number will now be a link to the release notes that are hosted in our Help centre.
Release notes will become available in the application starting with version 2.20 and later.
Admin Module | Notifications
Under the Notifications admin, a new notification called “New Software Update Available” is now available. Users can subscribe to receive notifications letting them know when a new version of SeaCare is ready to download. The email notification will also include a link to the release notes.
SeaCare Onboard
General
In the following areas, the system now supports the displaying of Chinese special characters:
- SeaCare Onboard > Patient Chart > Action > Download All Cases
- SeaCare Onboard > Clinic Module > Patients Seen > Download Patient(s) Case Information
- SeaCare Onboard > Clinic Module > Patients Seen > Mass Download
- SeaCare Onboard > Patient Chart > Summary > Print
Clinic Module | Dashboard
A new widget has been added called “Public Health”. Under this widget, the system will display the following counts:
- # of Open Public Health Cases (AGE and ARD/ARI)
- # of Scheduled CD Tests that are due today or are overdue
- # of Open Close Contact Cases
- # of Close Contact Follow Ups that are due today or are overdue
Users will be able to see all the details behind these counts by selecting the “View Data” option under the widget ellipsis icon.
Clinic Module | Referrals and Disembarks
When using the “Send Email” action, the system now allows you to select from more “TO” options:
- Provider – sends email to the Provider assigned to the referral or disembark.
- Assistance Company - sends email to the Assistance Company assigned to the referral or disembark.
- Third Party (Insurance Company) - If the referral or disembark has a port linked to it, and the port is managed by a “Third Party – Insurance Company”, then the email assigned to the third party will display.
- Third Party (Port Agent) - If the referral or disembark has a port linked to it, and the port is managed by a “Third Party – Port Agents”, then the email assigned to the third party will display.
- Third Party (Other) - If the referral or disembark has a port linked to it, and the port is managed by a “Third Party – Other”, then the email assigned to the third party will display.
Note: Third Parties and their emails are configured in SeaCare Operations > Admin > Third Parties section > Misc Third Parties tab. Users can assign third parties to ports under the “Ports” tab.
Patient Chart | Disposition
We have made some changes to the custom instructions behaviour:
- Under the Instructions wizards, users no longer need to document a reason why they are removing a custom instruction.
- Custom instructions are also no longer automatically selected. Users may now just select which instructions they want to add to the patient's summary.
- Diagnosis related instructions are now grouped efficiently and use less space on the summary.
- Beneath each instruction, the system now displays the user and the date/time a user added or modified the instruction.
- All custom instructions now display when you select the “Download Discharge Documents” under the Disposition wizard.
